The Office of Health and Wellness in collaboration with ‘The Forge Pakistan’ organized a three-day self-defense workshop. The purpose of this workshop was to provide a bespoke experience to cater to the growing need of self-defense as a life skill.

In the first session, students were briefed about self-defense followed by a guide to observe alarming behaviors and potential dangers around them. They were also taught some basic moves to defend themselves in unprecedented situations.
In the second session, more time was spent by students to learn self-defense techniques including 4D's of Self Defense.
The third session was a basic training on how common gadgets can be used as weapons for protecting one’s self. This session also emphasized on learning the importance of protecting ourselves as well as others in times of need.

The overall workshop proved to be quite beneficial as it focused on staying alert, improving reflexes and training students about self- defense tools and techniques.
