A panel discussion webinar was organized on 9th June for HU students. Amongst the panelist were: Ayesha S. Jamall a psychotherapist and Co-founder of Center of Inclusive Care; Dr. Severine Minot, Assistant Professor of SDP at HU and a broadly trained sociologist with expertise in social development; and Talha Amin, research assistant for DSSE. The discussion was moderated by Anum Siddiqui, the mental health counselor at HU. The discussion encompassed the post-pandemic transition phase, the tools and skills required for mental health and professional growth once they graduate. The panelist also discussed the realistic expectations students should have moving forward and how they can incorporate self-care into their daily lives. Students were also told about the healthy coping strategies for dealing with mental health.
