The office of Health and Wellness in its aim to improve the well-being of the HU community, organized an art therapy session with Team Parindey. This organization conducts groups therapy sessions with the help of art and music.
Parindey’s founder Ms. Sonal Dhanani began the session with meditation to relax all the participants. She then asked the participants to think of their safe space and the feelings they associate with it. Following this, participants were provided with a variety of art supplies from which they were asked to create an image of their safe space.

Through this activity, the participants channeled their inner peace and calm to create a space that made them feel comfortable. After this, the instructor asked participants to share stories behind their creations, only if they were willing to do so. It was overwhelming to observe that a sizeable number of students shared details about their safe spaces and any stories regarding it that were close to their heart.
After such an emotionally charged session, the instructor ended it with a relaxing meditation.
