Each year, in January, the HU Student Community elects 10 students to form the very exclusive Habib University Student Government.

In November last year, the Election Committee was formed and the planning for 2021 elections was undertaken. The nominations for student government positions were opened in December 2020. After fulfilling the required formalities, the Office of Student Life allowed the nominees to campaign for their respective positions.

The Election Committee (EC) organized an entire campaign week to facilitate student-nominee interactions so that the students, based on informed decisions, could vote for the Executive Council and Cabinet Chair positions.
