Graduation is considered one of the most important milestones of university life. It is that time of the year when all graduating students rewind their time at their university revisiting their bittersweet memories. What makes all these memories so important to them is the fact that they are about to leave a place where they have spent four years of their life-now their second home.

Every year the Freshmen, Sophomore, and Juniors get together and form a committee to plan and implement an appropriate send-off to their Seniors. This year the Grad Committee came together with fervor under the supervision of the HUSG, and planning and implementing events is underway. Below are some of the events that have been implanted:

Karaoke

The Grad Committee launched its series of farewell events on a melodious note. A karaoke evening was arranged where seniors gathered in modest numbers to sing to their heart's content serenading each other with heartfelt dedication.

Manito

Manito in Spanish means 'Secret Friend'. The idea behind this event is to provide a platform where seniors gift something special to another batchmate anonymously. Each senior is assigned to another senior who will be called their 'Manito' (the person doesn't know who he/she is assigned to). Gifts need not be tangible, they can take the form of poetry, cards, chocolates, etc. Three such rounds take place after which students get to know about the identity of their Manito. This event creates some amazing memories for the gifter and the giftee building values of selfless love and giving.

Chai Baithak Session

As the name suggests, this event is held with the purpose of chit-chat over a nice cup of tea. This time around the Grad Committee arranged an “Antakshiri” session between the class of 2021 and the faculty. Many faculty members joined in the festivities by showing off their talents
